Note: The tips am going to share have been tried and tested by hundreds of people before. So, it is only natural that you’ll most likely find them helpful as well.
Below are some of the working tips to help you go vegan in no time at all. Just follow these tips and you’ll turn yourself into a vegan real soon.
Step 1: Getting started
The first step is always the most difficult one. But once you’ve take your first step, the rest becomes history.
Start from today and do not wait for tomorrow because tomorrow never comes. There is no right time to get started than the present.
If you believe that you are still not ready yet and need more time before getting started then you’ll never get started.
It would be best that you just forget about going vegan and stick with your favorite foods and stuffs.
Believe me you will never be as ready as you are at present even if you take another decade or so.
By leaving things for tomorrow, you’re just delaying your progress and looking for excuses to spend some more time with your childhood love (meat and dairy products).
You might think am being a little sarcastic but am not, it is a proven fact. That’s why people keep on insisting that ‘old habits die hard.’
So, if you want to go vegan, just get started with already. Once you get started only then you’ll realize how fun going vegan can actually be.
Step 2: Try the Seven Day Vegan Challenge:
There are mainly two benefits of taking the seven day vegan challenge.
Firstly you will get time to adjust your emotions and your taste buds will get time to acquire the taste of plant-based foods.
Try the seven day vegan challenge for starter. This way you’ll get first-hand experience on plant based diet.
It is completely understandable that turning oneself into a vegan overnight is going to be tough. It may do more harm than good to you.
Take your time acquiring and developing new taste. Your taste buds much like your mind needs time to adjust.
It would be a complete waste if you force your mind and your taste buds to give up on things that you’ve been in love with for years.
Doing so will only get you into trouble and you’ll carve for dairy and meat products real soon. And it’ll be much harder to re-prepare yourself for the next time.
The seven day vegan challenge is specifically designed to avoid such complications at the latter stages.
By taking the seven day vegan challenge, you’ll have time to adjust your emotions and your taste buds will get time to acquire new taste.
Secondly, you’ll find out if you’re ready to make the big decision or you still need some more time.
Not everything in life can be explained by others. Sometimes you need to experience it first hand to understand the situation and things better. It is even truer especially when it comes to personal choices.
Remember someone’s words can only make you try something, food for example, but whether you like it your not is your own decision.
Going on a strict plant based food for the rest of your life might sound like a great idea when someone explains you how wonderful a vegan lifestyle can be.
But whether you’ll like it too is a question mark and only you can answer it better than anyone else.
In your case, taking the seven day vegan challenge is one way to seek the answer for yourself.
If you enjoy the challenge, you might as well keep going and you’ll reach your goal in no time.
You might as well jump to step 5 instead of step 3 and 4.
And if you find the challenge hard on you (mind, body and soul), there are other ways to approach it.
Meatless Monday is one way to get around in order to reach your goal of going vegan.
Step 3: Go Meatless on Monday
When you go vegan, you can either become one or act like one. I personally prefer the first one and I’ll leave it up to you to decide what you prefer most.
But if am to judge you now than I would say, you too agree with my choice. In fact, everyone will agree that it is best to live with modesty and honesty rather than false pride.
There is no shame in admitting one’s weakness and working to improve it gradually rather than showing off.
You might as well live like a vegan once you go vegan just to show off. But what good will it do to you. You’ll still carve for meat and dairy products which is the worst thing that can happen to you.
Your carvings will grow by the day and you’ll be forced to surrender to your carvings sooner or later. It will make you lose face even more. Don’t you agree?
You might have seen and read about many bad examples of so called vegan who have surrendered to their carvings and gave up on their false pride eventually.
You do not want to end up like them now do you? So, it is best that you work on your weaknesses rather than hide them.
Going meatless on Monday is one way of working on your weaknesses. You only have to avoid meat on Monday.
Most of you might be aware of the Meatless Monday campaign that spread like a wildfire across the United States.
The campaign was a huge success and resulted in a significant decline in meat consumption on the following year.

It is a gradual change and will feel natural to you. Furthermore, it does not put much strain to your body and brain.
It is just like you taking baby steps before you learnt how to run. So, do not be hard on yourself and do things on your own pace.
Once you introduce more and more plant based foods to you plate, your taste buds will get time to adjust and acquire new taste.
Soon you’ll get the hang of it then you can take one step further and turn yourself into a weekend vegan.
